Abstract
ⶠOlder adults show an enhanced amplitude of the nogo-P3, an ERP measure of response suppression with centro-frontal scalp distribution. ⶠThis indicates that a partial response preparation to nogo events is strongly suppressed in normal aging. ⶠThis finding is obtained here by matching frequency and conflict level between go and nogo stimuli, discarding accounts related to deviance or conflict detection.
