Abstract
ⶠFlunarizine efficiently blocked INa and ICa in cultured rat cortical neurons. ⶠFlunarizine bound to its receptor site better at more depolarizing potentials. â¶Flunarizine bound to open Na+ channels to promote their rapid closing. ⶠFlunarizine favored the inactivation of INa. ⶠFlunarizine delayed the recovery from Na+ channel fast inactivation.
