Abstract
▶ Determine if motor asymmetries are reduced during the aging process. ▶ Robust motor asymmetries between the arms of the young adults. ▶ Lower motor asymmetries between the arms of the older adults. ▶ Greater symmetry in elderly due to improved coordination of non-dominant arm. ▶ Conclusion: motor lateralization is reduced during the aging process.
