Abstract
â¶ Ascorbic acid in the 4th ventricle induces the PHE-mediated tachycardia. â¶ N-acetylcysteine in the 4th ventricle reduces the baroreflex mediated bradycardia. â¶ The antioxidants AAC and NAC may affect the parasympathetic component of the cardiac baroreflex.
