Abstract
► SNAP-25 plays an essential role in exocytotic neurotransmitter release as a t-SNARE protein. ► SNAP-25 is phosphorylated by PKC, but the dephosphorylation mechanism is unclear. ► SNAP-25 dephosphorylation is suppressed not by PP1 or PP2B, but by PP2A inhibitor. ► PP2A is suggested to participate in SNAP-25 dephosphorylation through two mechanisms.
