Abstract
► The ONOO− donor, SIN-1 reversibly enhanced eIPSCs via the formationin of ONOO−. ► SIN-1 presynaptically increased GABAergic transmission in a dose-dependent manner. ► SIN-1 could enhance sIPSCs via presynaptic voltage-gated calcium channels (VGCCs). ► Effect of SIN-1 was not related to the changes of interneuron excitability.
