Abstract
▶ GAD67 deficiency or maternal stress each is known as a risk factor of schizophrenia. ▶ Restrain-and-light stress to pregnant heterozygous GAD67-GFP knock-in mice was done. ▶ Heterozygous mothers were more vulnerable to stress and maternity than wild ones. ▶ Fetuses in heterozygous mothers and heterozygous fetuses were more stress-susceptible. ▶ GAD67 deficiency and maternal stress may have covariation or interaction in liability.
