Abstract
⺠cAMP exerts a biphasic effect on SGN neurite length. ⺠The effect of cAMP on SGN neurite length is not substrate dependent. ⺠PKA activity in the cytoplasm and in the nucleus inhibits SGN neurite length. ⺠PI3-K signaling partially rescues neurite length in SGNs with elevated PKA activity. ⺠PKA does not contribute to the inhibition of neurite length by depolarization.
