Abstract
⺠ABR thresholds increase following noise-induced hearing loss in chinchillas. ⺠ABR wave I amplitude at equal stimulus SPL decreases, and latency at equal SL decreases. ⺠ABR threshold and amplitude shifts correlate with AN-fiber threshold elevation. ⺠ABR latency shifts correlate with reductions in AN-fiber frequency selectivity. ⺠ABRs can predict changes in cochlear sensitivity and frequency selectivity.
