Abstract
► Sewage sludge were heated at various temperatures and times. ► Various effects of methylene blue adsorption onto dried sludge were investigated. ► Freundlich and Langmuir models used to examine the fitness of the experimental data. ► Increasing heating temperatures will give more MB adsorption onto dried sewage sludge. ► Dried sewage sludge has potential to replace activated carbon in removing organic dye.
