Abstract
⺠Influence of three DNA polymerases in PCR-DGGE, and their humic acid resistance was compared. ⺠Differences were observed between the produced fingerprints, especially in the number of detectable GC-rich amplicons. ⺠KOD DNA polymerase exhibited more bands than Taq, and showed the highest resistance against humic acids. ⺠KOD DNA polymerase seems beneficial for the analysis of challenging DNA templates.
