Abstract
- Cellular and environmental stresses induce conversion of bradyzoites to tachyzoites.
- This conversion is associated with Heat Shock Protein (Hsps) family.
- Several unfolded substrate proteins are involved during this stage differentiation.
- Hsp100 may help them to be in their native soluble form to perform their function.
- Inhibiting Hsp100 function may impair conversion.
