Abstract
- Recombinant Plasmodium âknowlesi MSP-119 was cloned and expressed in Escherichia coli.
- rMSP-119 was evaluated in immunoblots.
- rMSP-119 was able to detect most of the antisera in malaria-infected samples.
- rMSP-119 has a 100% specificity.
- It could be used for serodiagnosis of malarial infection.
