- Toxoplasmosisis a worldwide zoonosis with high seroprevalence in South America.
- Purinergic signaling plays an important role modulating the inflammatory and immune responses.
- E-NTPDase and E-ADA activities were investigated in lymphocytes of animals infected with T. gondii.
- Increased activities of them were observed on lymphocytes.
- It is possible to suggest their involvement triggering an anti-inflammatory response.
