Abstract
⺠A novel ELISA to detect Trichinella spiralis circulating antigens were established. ⺠Chicken IgY used as a capture antibody and mouse IgM mAb as a detecting antibody. ⺠The assay could detect as little as 1 ng/ml of ES antigens. ⺠Circulating antigens were detected at 4 days post infection in sera of infected mice. ⺠This assay is valuable to the early diagnosis of trichinellosis.
