Abstract
⺠Schistosoma mansoni eggs can shape host immune responses. ⺠C-type lectin interactions with egg moieties play a major role. ⺠Individual egg glycoproteins carry complex glycans that bind different C-type lectins. ⺠Multivalency and molecular presentation of glycans may be important variables.
