Abstract
► An ELISA was developed to detect Trichinella antigens in infected rats. ► Sensibility was of 1 ng/mL, no cross reactions with other antigens were observed. ► Coproantigens were detected in the early two days post infection. ► Circulating antigens peaked at 6 weeks post infection. ► Antibodies were detected since 3-4 weeks post infection.
