Abstract
⺠Hsp20 shows a high degree of conservation among Apicomplexas. ⺠Rabbit anti-Toxoplasma gondii Hsp20 serum was able to recognize the Neospora caninum counterpart. ⺠N. caninum Hsp20 is localized at the parasite's pellicle. ⺠Anti-TgHsp20 serum reduced T. gondii invasion and gliding and N. caninum invasion. ⺠TgHsp20 showed to localize at the plasma membrane, IMC and basal complex.
