Abstract
⺠Plasmodium berghei infection results into high percent parasitaemia in pregnant mice. ⺠The malaria infection significantly increases the levels of malondialdehyde in pregnant mice. ⺠The catalase activity, an antioxidant decreases during malaria infection. ⺠Malarial infection during pregnancy alters the pathology of pivotal organs.
