Abstract
⺠First description of the structure gene of Cu,Zn-SOD in Cestoda class (Taenia solium). ⺠Enzyme is mainly expressed in the tegument of T. solium and Taenia crassiceps cysticerci. ⺠Cysticerci of T. crassiceps can resist high concentrations of O2- and H2O2. ⺠mRNA and protein Cu,Zn-SOD expression levels do not change in T. crassiceps cysticerci exposed to O2- and H2O2.
