Abstract
⺠In this work we study diagnostic epitopes of the Taenia solium 8 kDa antigen family. ⺠We evaluated by ELISA and MABA overlapping synthetic peptides of Ts8B2 and CyDA. ⺠The peptides were evaluated using human, infected pigs and immunized rabbits. ⺠Ts8B2 showed conformational epitopes in contrast to the previously observed in CyDA. ⺠The differential antigenicity could be related with parasite variability.
