Abstract
⺠Inflammatory reactions of Rhipicephalus microplus mimotopes were assessed on tick field-exposed cattle. ⺠The cutaneous hypersensitivity test indicated a pattern similar to immediate hypersensitivity. ⺠Delayed immune response was not detected as expected. ⺠The wild-type phage inoculation surprisingly induced a strong immediate response on its own. ⺠These findings should be considered as preliminary.
