Abstract
⺠Permethrin affects salivary gland cells of Rhipicephalus sanguineus semi-fed females. ⺠It causes vacuolation in acinar cells followed by cell death with formation of apoptotic bodies. ⺠So, permethrin interferes with salivary glands tissue besides affecting the tick nervous system.
