Abstract
⺠Virulence of three Trypanosoma evansi isolates in the Philippines was compared. ⺠Mice were inoculated with 0.2 ml of each isolates and blood was examined. ⺠Mortality rate, parasitemia level, clinical signs, and lesions were determined. ⺠Statistical analysis revealed significant difference among isolates. ⺠T. evansi Visayan isolate was more virulent in terms of mortality rate.
