Abstract
⺠Flavonoids sakuranetin and naringenin were isolated from Baccharis retusa. ⺠These compounds were evaluated in vitro against Leishmania spp. and Trypanosoma cruzi. ⺠Sakuranetin presented activity against Leishmania spp. as well as against T. cruzi. ⺠Naringenin and sakuranetin-4â²-methyl ether did not show antiparasitic activity.
