Abstract
⺠Chickens, ducks and pigeons were examined for sarcocystosis in Yunnan, China. ⺠Only chickens were found infected with Sarcocystis wenzeli, at a rate of 8.8%. ⺠No cases of Sarcocystis were found in domesticated ducks or pigeons. ⺠Morphological details of S. wenzeli were revealed through high resolution microscopy.
