Abstract
⺠The Th17 responses in the host of low compatibility with the parasite were high. ⺠The rejection of the worms seems to be mediated by a biased Th17/Th2 phenotype. ⺠The Th17 response generated in rats may facilitate the worm expulsion. ⺠The suppression of the Th1 responses seems essential for the worm expulsion.
