Abstract
⺠We compared the malaria disease of wild-type and Mgat5 deficient mice. ⺠Pathology of the Mgat5 deficient mice was severer than that of wild-type mice. ⺠Mgat5 modified N-glycans on the erythrocytes may interrupt invasion of parasites.
