Abstract
⺠Ticks cause serious health threats to humans and animals. ⺠Currently, synthetic chemicals are widely used in tick control. ⺠Fungus-based biological control is presented as a safer approach to tick control. ⺠Early and recent studies on fungi versus ticks are reviewed. ⺠Suggestions are provided on future basic and applied fungal tick-control studies.
