Abstract
⺠We investigated the possible causes of restricted movements of joints in rats. ⺠Trichinella causes inflammation and ulceration of synovium and articular cartilage. ⺠Also there was T. spiralis immune complex deposited in the synovial membrane. ⺠Immune complex deposition can induce arthritis in rats infected with T. spiralis.
