Abstract
⺠ICL670 in vitro antimalarial activity is supported by the inhibition of β-hematin formation. ⺠ICL670 also inhibits the peroxidative degradation of hemin. ⺠Ursolic acid derivatives share common structural determinants with ICL670. ⺠The antimalarial activity and common structural determinants are correlated.
