Abstract
⺠SCT is the gold standard for the diagnosis of Echinococcus multilocularis on foxes. ⺠It is a very time-consuming technique since all intestinal content must be examined. ⺠E. multilocularis worm distribution was analysed for the five segments of intestines. ⺠SSCT was determined by examination of fourth and first or second segments. ⺠SSCT gave high sensibility and is very time-effective for qualitative diagnosis.
