Abstract
⺠Trypanosoma evansi is a hemoparasite of animals with treatment based on chemotherapy. ⺠Diminazene aceturate is the main drug used. ⺠Not present curative efficacy in most cases showing recurrence of parasitemia. ⺠New alternatives of treatments are needed. ⺠Vitamin E and Sodium Selenite Increase the efficacy of curative T. evansi.
