Abstract
⺠LACK, the Leishmania homolog of receptors for activated C-kinase, binds plasminogen. ⺠Recombinant LACK and secreted proteins enhance plasminogen activation by t-PA. ⺠An internal plasminogen binding motif similar to those found in several enolases is present in LACK. ⺠In addition to other localizations, LACK was also localized on the external surface of the membrane.
