Abstract
The manufacturing and installation of large filter presses for sludge or wastewater treatment is an expensive business. However, deep physico-chemical analysis of industrial slurries in the definition of ores, muds and other complex solid mixtures, normally found during high-pressure filtration of industrial slurries can solve many problems prior to construction.
