Abstract
⺠Overall decrease of mammal functional diversity under human-induced disturbances. ⺠'Herbivory' effect was the least aggressive disturbance mechanism effects. ⺠'Species change' strongly and negatively affected mammal functional diversity in arid lands. ⺠This loss of functional diversity may generate positive feedbacks that help to maintain degraded states of the ecosystem.
