Abstract
⺠We evaluated treatments to revegetate with native forbs and grasses. ⺠Dry monsoons strongly limited herbaceous plant emergence and establishment. ⺠We did not find competition between native and invasive grass seedlings. ⺠Mulching and planting native herbaceous seedlings increased invasive grass emergence. ⺠We suggest seeding for several years to raise chances of revegetation in a wet year.
