Abstract
⺠We conducted a choice experiment in a semi-arid mountainous rural watershed. ⺠We explored local population preferences for different land-use management options. ⺠Respondents would support a new land-use management plan in the area. ⺠Future stated preference studies should consider using tax reallocation as payment vehicle.
