Abstract
⺠Wind erosion and off-road vehicular activity are important sources of atmospheric dust. ⺠Sand surfaces produce large amounts of dust during wind erosion. ⺠Silt and clay surfaces produce large amounts of dust during off-road vehicular activity. ⺠In the Nellis Dunes area the annual amounts of dust produced by off-road vehicles and wind erosion are equal.
