Abstract
⺠Seed traits of Hordeum comosum and Koeleria vurilochensis grasses were studied. ⺠Species differences in morphological and functional traits were found. ⺠H. comosum presented larger seeds, and higher and synchronized germination. ⺠K. vurilochensis showed small and light seeds, and lower germination rate. ⺠These results are important for breeding/restoration efforts in Patagonia steppes.
