Abstract
In the first of a series of articles, Ken Sutherland looks at one of the minor end-use sectors, which, although important industries in their own right, actually have relatively small shares of the filtration and other separation equipment market. In the present case, the review is of the production of minerals, other than fuel materials, and the making of metals, both ferrous and non-ferrous.
