Abstract
⺠Sediment PBDEs exhibited a positive association with catchment's urbanization level. ⺠Similar to “urban heat island effect”, an “urban pollution island effect” was observed. ⺠PBDEs can be used as indicator chemicals of urbanization process in this region.
