Abstract
⺠Mercury (Hg) is a ubiquitous heavy metal that may negatively affect human health. ⺠Little is known about the effects of prenatal low-level Hg on fetal growth. ⺠We estimated the relationship of low-level Hg exposure with neonatal anthropometry. ⺠No association was found between maternal or cord Hg exposure and three outcomes. ⺠Results should be interpreted with caution given its toxicity and persistence.
