Abstract
► Mercury (Hg) is a ubiquitous heavy metal that may negatively affect human health. ► Little is known about the effects of prenatal low-level Hg on fetal growth. ► We estimated the relationship of low-level Hg exposure with neonatal anthropometry. ► No association was found between maternal or cord Hg exposure and three outcomes. ► Results should be interpreted with caution given its toxicity and persistence.
