Abstract
⺠Thorium was preferentially accumulated in root system of the tobacco plants. ⺠In the presence of organic acids the increase of Th content was observed. ⺠The addition of polyamines resulted in decrease of thorium accumulation. ⺠The higher Put concentration resulted in the lower Th uptake in the roots. ⺠The absence of phosphate ions caused the large increase of Th uptake.
