Abstract
⺠Uncovering the sulfide dynamics of degrading wood with voltammetric sensors. ⺠Sulfide was first detected on day 35, and reached a maximum of 1200 μM. ⺠Wood interior was considerably more sulfidic than the surface. ⺠Sulfide oxidation during wood degradation can act as a nitrate sink.
