Abstract
► Adsorption of 2,4-DCP on CNTs was reversible. ► CNTs inhibited the mineralization of 2,4-DCP in soil. ► CNTs increased the persistence of 2,4-DCP in soil. ► SWCNTs had stronger effects on the fate of 2,4-DCP in soil than MWCNTs. ► Effects of CNTs were more significant on the fate of the 2,4-DCP that already adsorbed on CNTs.
