Abstract
⺠Sediments with high organic carbon are potential source for biochar production. ⺠Sorption nonlinearity of all five chemicals increases after pyrolysis. ⺠Sorption nonlinearity increases with pyrolysis for all five contaminants. ⺠Biochars derived from sediment show high sorption to organic contaminants.
