Abstract
⺠Efficient sorbent HDTMAB-immobilized mesoporous SiO2 hollow sphere was prepared. ⺠Increasing volume was used to simulate the natural river situation. ⺠The sorbent showed high sorption capacity for the perfluorooctane sulfonate. ⺠Sorption mechanisms included hydrophobic interaction and Ca-bridge role.
