Abstract
⺠Temporal-spatial trends of organohalogen compounds were evaluated using Eagle owl eggs. ⺠Our results seem to reflect the intensive agricultural practice in the study area. ⺠Dietary shifts and proximity to industry could cause the increase in the Southern area. ⺠ppâ²-DDE was correlated with eggshell thickness and 17% of samples exceeded the LOAEC for total TEQs. ⺠The correlation TEQ-metabolisable PCBs could indicate hepatic enzymes induction.
