Abstract
⺠Maternal exposure to dioxins may result in adverse health effects in their children. ⺠The effect of maternal exposure to dioxins on the development of fetal Yusho disease (FYD) was studied. ⺠The blood level of 1,2,3,6,7,8-HexaCDD in mothers at delivery was associated with increased risk of FYD. ⺠The blood level of 1,2,3,6,7,8-HexaCDD in descendants with FYD was also elevated.
